Rainy days ahead in Malaysia


The haze situation that had enveloped Malaysia early this month had improved significantly and following wet weather over the last weekend,
the Malaysian Meteorological Department reported more rain is expected in the remaining days of the month.

As inter-monsoon season approaches, Malaysia and the region will see heavy showers and thunderstorms replacing months of prolonged dry spells.
In its report, the heavy rain will increase in frequency and most likely to occur in the afternoons and late evenings and this is said to continue in the following month. The air pollutant index (API) readings nationwide had improved considerably and as of today, no API readings available on DoE’s website -
